Ana Fair Reposado Tequila or “rested” tequila is aged in large oak barrels for up to 12 months. The barrels impart both flavor and color. It has a mellow caramel taste and amber color. Reposado tequilas are great for aperitif sipping. The Beverage Testing Institute pays tribute to its “luminescent pale gold” color. Honeycomb, date, fig, orange peel, and caramel aromas are attractive and follow through on a soft, silky entry to a dryish medium body of understated and balanced dried fruit, nut and spice flavors.
